ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Website redesign for the company Cargo Logistics based in Bulgaria.

I worked on this project alone, my work included: user research, ui & ux design.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I was challenged to update the UI/UX of the already existing website of Cargo Logistics BG. I approached the project by evaluating the current design based on the Jacob's 10 usabilty heuristics. I conducted research, specifically task-based usability testing. I focused on improving the user experience of buying their services and the overall design of the website. Their services are shipping, car import and customs so this was a challenging project.
USER JOURNEYS OF THE OLD WEBSITE
User journeys showed that people find it hard to trust the website with their data and want to make a phone call to ensure whether the company is legit or not. They also assume that making a phone call is the only way to receive an offer.
THE IDEA
Most people are not common with the cargo terminology and they don’t know what information they need to provide while writing an email. The solution to this is a short and easy to fill form, that at the same time provides my client with all the necessary information to come up with a price for the customer.

THE SOLUTION
The solution is a modern corporative design, that builds trust with the customers by showing all of the benefits of choosing Cargo Logistics, the company's mission, easy to find contact info and opening hours. The call to action button with the accent colour navigates customers to the form and the balanced service navigation makes the design engaging. The company has a specialty in importing cars, a page about it is included in the design and the process is similar.
